The Opportunity

Our team in Zurich is delivering the technology at the heart of the DAML ecosystem, including the language itself, developer tools, runtime, ledger implementations, and integrations.

As part of the Product team, you will be an expert DAML developer, a custodian of the product vision, a voice of DAML developers within the company and an advocate for our technology outside.In this particular position, you will concentrate on providing resources to drive developer adoption and success.You will take leading roles on the topics of user onboarding, education, support, and outreach, working closely with our Community and Enterprise Solutions teams to understand how users use our product, and create a great developer journey.

Success In This Role

  • You communicate and help to refine the DAML product vision and value proposition so that they are clearly understood by our users, our partners, and across the company, and are aligned with the company vision set by the founders and team leads
  • You understand and are passionate about our product like no other, and your enthusiasm is shared widely
  • Your focus on improving the developer journey and on representing the users’ voice within Digital Asset leads us to build resources, features and tools that increase user satisfaction and DAML adoption
  • The content you create, or help others create, including website, documentation, blog, videos, and outreach events, allow new DAML developers to quickly understand what DAML is for, get proficient with it and get a solution into production

Key Criteria

  • A minimum of three years experience in software development. Experience in enterprise software and full stack application building an advantage
  • A keen interest in application development. Experience with a number of languages, frameworks and ecosystems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and technical writing ability
  • Proven track-record in education, documentation, and community support
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality user experiences
  • Experience in Product Management an advantage
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • High aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A few hours of DAML SDK experience and an ability to articulate what you love about it and what needs improvement
